Im super bummed, I got a request for 7 nights @ my rate of $80/N.

I drive 1 hr to her house, a 70 acre ranch with a massive house (2 hrs total) spent $25 in gas to get there.

I stay at her place for an hour listening to her needs & then she texts when I leave & goes “how much are your rates?” Ummmm what? She interviews me without knowing my rates?! Then she says she only needs me for 4 nights!

I message back $80 & then she goes well I usually pay $60. Omg what is with people? I don’t go to a store or my hairdresser and say “Oh I usually pay this…” I wasted fuel and time, meanwhile this woman is relaxing in her mansion on her 70 acres. She also has a VBRO on-site that was booked while I was there!

Just bummed. Obviously told her my price is firm and she went “I have other options.” Not sure why I’m so affected by this. I think it’s because she didn’t think I was worth a mere extra $20 a day? What a joke. Have fun on your private yacht in the Caribbean for the next two weeks, cheapskate.
