House sitters: How Do You Usually Answer This Question from an Owner?
Post Body

This is kind of a silly question, but I have been asked it so much since starting Rover in 2015 and I have always politely declined and brought my own snacks and drinks. I have a 10-day house sitting gig coming up and was just asked this which is what prompted my question.

Question: When you are at a meet and greet (or this can even occur over text) and the owner says to let them know if you want them to get you anything to eat/drink for when they go food shopping, do you usually decline? Or have you actually took them up on the offer and said something like, “That’s so nice blablabla…I do love LaCroix so I would appreciate having that around!” (just a random example)

Curious what other sitters have said in response to this!
