Unfortunately I don't think anyone has had luck. I read that someone went out and waded through the muck and found a little of the island had a beach but unless you have a boat, that sounds like a miserable trek.
From the stickied post, there is a link to compare water levels to previous years. You will see that the water levels are around ten to thirteen (13!) feet higher than last year at this time.
C/P previous comment I made over on r/CollinsBeach: Also, keep in mind that the water starts in the Rockies in British Columbia, BC (Columbia Lake, to be exact) and Western Oregon's rainfall only represents a fraction for the water levels we see. Meaning, you can't look outside, see the sun, and expect the water to be any lower. They are saying that we are about two months behind in winter thaw so I suspect that mid-July is going to be when we start seeing consistently lower water levels... I hope I'm wrong and it's earlier than this.
