How to avoid pooling on roof
Post Body

I live in a top floor unit in an apartment building. It has a slightly sloped metal roof. On the roof top there is an ac unit installed recently (in the middle of the photo) and a bulkhead structure which connects to the deck (on the right of photo). As the bulkhead is lower than the ac unit, there is always a pool left between them after a rain. I am afraid that the pooling will deteriorate the roof after a long time. Also, there are some electric wires that go from the ac unit into the building through. The wires are soaked in the water if there is pooling so there is risk of electric leak. Should I be concerned about this and what I should do to address this?
