Best patch material to use to fix a leak in mobile home roof?
Post Body

edit: Pictures of roof

So my mobile home roof has a few spots that need patching, and I'm trying to find the right material to use to fix them with. Some of the materials though say "Do not use with rubber membrane/EPDM", so what I'm trying to now figure out is how do I know if that's what my roof is?

My roof is definitely metal, but has a white layer of something painted over top of it that definitely feels rubbery in places. Is that the type of rubber membrane they're talking about? And if so, what then is the best material to use to patch my roof?

Also do I absolutely need to use the reinforcing fabric with the roof patch if the spots are all small? They're all just a few inches at most, small tears in the seams mostly.

Any help or pointing in the right direction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
