Iām currently building an iOS/Android concept app to get my feet wet in app development, and was hoping to get some input in whether someone who is actually in the roofing industry would ever consider downloading.
The app allows roofers/contractors to check the amount of material needed to replace the roof of any building available on Google Maps(which is virtually any building one might work on). The user would open the app and would be able to enter the address of the building they are working on. The app uses Google Maps and AI to automatically measure the size of the roof and calculates how much material one would need to replace the current roof (or simply a portion of it; the user would have the open to highlight a specific section of the roof if they did not plan on doing the whole thing).
Furthermore, the app would all the user to select which material they would be working with. The app would be connected to large distributors and superstore (HomeDepot, etc.) which would automatically allow you to work with materials you know are in stock. Once the app determines how much material you would need, the user has the option to purchase the material directly through the app.
Disclaimer: Please be brutally honest with your feedback, it truly is the only way I can better my product. Thank you in advance for any input you might be able to provide!!
