So I went on a few friend dates with an awesome bisexual girl to get to know her better. Weāve really vibed, but she told me she isnāt ready to date, and when she is ready she said she will likely only date women. She has made no illusions about it, she hasnāt led me on and has told me not to wait for her, and we have become amazing friends since but I managed to catch āthe feelsā for her. My main issue is wanting to remain friends with her, as I adore her, however I am worried I will always feel like Iāve missed out on something great. Or am I now confusing platonic love with romantic love? We can spend all day cuddling and talking, we have chemistry I have never felt before, but neither of us feels sexual attraction for another, just an intense sense of comfort and safety. Any advice would be great as I honestly have never been in this situation before.
