If you liked Against a Wall, I think you might like this one too. It's quite a different type of pining though, and it's a Mafia romance. Also a TW: eating disorder

Poor hero has been pining for the heroine since they were little kids and he has done so much shit just to have little pieces of her 😭 I actually found Nicky to be quite sweet and I just wanted to hold him haha

And poor Zita too... She has a lot of demons and she's trying to deal with them, and the portrayal of her eating disorder was so raw, it made me feel for her and for me and for all the women out there...

The ending was also really unexpected... like... wow

If I have any complaints, is that I wish the book was a bit longer haha And, to be very honest, Cash is still my fave pining boy xD But Nicky is right behind him 😉 (and Christian Allister is my fave pining man 🤣)

Anyway, I highly recommend this book if you're into the pining trope 😍
