So I was thinking of Her Baseborn Bridegroom by Alice Coldbreath and how the FMC is so sweet and innocent and EXTREMELY sheltered. (not a spoiler, because it’s literally in the blurb) She was trapped in a tower in her own castle most of her life by evil relatives.

I was kinda disappointed that the book didn’t have a scene where the FMC excitedly decides to do something to help her husband, and when she proudly presents her hard work to him, he’s confused because he cannot figure out what it is she’s showing him. And after some confusion and explanation, everyone is laughing on the floor.

I feel like this scenario probably occurs more in HR because it’s kinda hard to be sheltered nowadays with the internet but I’d like to ask for both HR& CR request that could fit this! I prefer human characters but if you have any alien/monster/etc recs for this, feel free to comment because there maybe people interested in those genres!
