...to do more groveling and apologizing. His excuse that he didn't remember all the times he bullied Glenna felt like Cash sidestepping out of having to do a grand apology for his bullying. IMO, both Cash and Toby were equally a**holes to Glenna. But it seemed like later in the book, the author was trying to make it seem like Toby was worse. Cash's chapters seemed like he cared more about why Glenna kept pushing him away - instead of caring about what his bullying did to her.
I am glad I read Against A Wall after seeing it recommended on here. I honestly probably wouldn't have given it a chance cause of the cover. It seemed like an excessive alpha book. However, it was way more nuanced than that. I loved Glenna (dare I say more than Cash).
Although I love Cash myself, the thing that bothered me was the Glenna hate.
I don’t get why people don’t like her (in this sub at times)
I think she’s great! In grumpy/sunshine trope, it’s okay for the FMC to be the grumpy one!
I also did find Cash endearing and I could definitely feel how he genuinely cared about her by the end
I like cash a million times better than his brother Kellum. Now that’s an MMC that I found lacking
