Post Body

Hi I'm so thrilled I found this subreddit. I feel like I've found my people of readers and writers of romance novels.

I'm looking for historical romances (1700-early 1900s, Victorian being the priority so nothing too far from that) where the male love interest refuses to marry or fall in love due to a perceived disfiguration/disability/scar, that is, until the female love interest comes around and changes his view.

(Bonus if it was attained during a war-related battle, and extra EXTRA bonus if said male love interest is dealing with PTSD or mental battle scars, but not necessary)
