Ravenhood Series (up until Exodus)

I just finished Exodus last night (about to start TFL) and I can’t understand how she was so so so in love with D&S and then this random dark Frenchman comes along and she can’t help herself and then they essentially become room mates and have mind blowing sex for a few weeks and then she thinks she’s madly in love with this man who’s psychologically abusing her. But it all makes sense i guess as the book progresses and you realise she’s living the storyline of her parents and her favourite book. She annoys me a little but at the same time I have to remind myself I’m a 36yo and not a 20 yo, lol the 20 yo lust filled hornbag probably would’ve done the same thing haha!

The hardest thing I’m finding now is that there’s not enough answers for me as to WHY the ravens started and HOW they became as big as they are and why there’s so many of them around the country? (Not sure if this is explained more in TFL). It’s sort of explained that Beau started it with some others in the town, although it was before the accident, so what was their aim first? And then Tobias expanded it to be national and international, but how? Where did they get the funding and how is it worth billions in the current day setting? And who are all the other members from around the country? Are they random people who are also “against the man” or were they also towns people who moved away but kept the grudge?

Also, was Cecelia just meant to be a game to Sean at the beginning and then he fell for her? As he was the only one how knew she was the daughter of their target from the get go?
