When I don’t have access to the audiobook of something I’m reading, I love using speak screen* to read it out loud to me when I’m driving, doing chores, etc. But, I did an update a while ago and now she will randomly skip words, sometimes up to a whole paragraph!
I’ve tried searching google a few times over the months and everybody basically says it’s a glitch with the latest iOS version and there’s no fix for it, but the threads are all a year old and I can’t find anything more recent.
Has anybody else experienced this and found a fix for it? I don’t know if this question belongs here, but I feel like a lot of us use this feature. It has seriously impacted my ability to get through books 😂 and now I’m avoiding reading things if I don’t have the audio version.
*Edited to change siri to speak screen. That is the feature I use, I just always call it siri.
