I am about to spoil the very end of the book, pmease consider this your warning not to read on.
I just finished reading The Day of the Duchess by Sarah McLean and i am very upset.
This story was building up to be my all-time favorite. I loved the dynamic, i loved that it was mostly about reconciliation, I adored the character growth... i was actually planning on writing a gushing post about how great the book is
And then I got to the epilogue. I was so happy to finally read a HR that does not end with a child! I was glad to have infertility discussed in my favorite romance sub-genre, I was excited to see them embrace a relationship that is just about the of them... and bamm, the book ends with no less than 4 children. I am disappointed.
Now I am wondering if i am alone in my annoyance or did it bother some of you too?
