so like I loveeeee romance books, specifically dark romance. CNC? Sign me up. Enemies to lovers? YES PLEASE. ALL THE TWs? The more the merrier.
I have fallen in love with thousands of fictional men and I will never be ashamed of it.
but IRL, I absolutely loathe any type of physical affection. Like, even holding hands is too much for me.
I would drop kick my DH if he ever tried to treat me like any of my fictional book husbands.
Is anyone else the same??? I feel like I’m crazy for loving it in books, but in real life? No thanks fam.
I feel the same, and it infuriates me if someone says „The books that you read are giving you unrealistic dating standards“.
Like do they think I expect them to be some crazy stalker that I don’t know that does unspeakable things with a gun to me or a 500 year old Bat-Man who wields shadows and can literally take me in the sky? NO! Dude we met on tinder….
Especially anything in contemporary romance books would probably give me the ick in real life. I would PROBABLY not accidentally marry a hot quarterback in Vegas and get shared with his friends? Would I?
Knot So Lucky by Trilina Pucci! It was such a fun little read 😏
