Hello Everyone,

As the title suggests, looking for recommendations with which has a plain MMC, who is either average looking or ugly and is paired with a FMC, who is either hot or richer than the MMC. I was able to find a lot of posts and recommendations with the roles reversed but not so many with this specific trope.

I have read a few beauty and the beast themed stories so looking for ones that fall outside the category though these type of recommendations are welcome.

Its an added bonus if the FMC is protective of the MMC or people around them don't understand why the FMC is dating the MMC

Edit: Would love some recs that are CR and modern day rather than HR.
