By 'hard sci-fi', I mean no alien-fucking, no psychic abilities, near-future-ish tech.
Something like The Martian with two people instead of one. Something where the hugeness of space and the smallness and fragility of humans is worked into the plot and colors the romance. Isolated, forced-proximity, middle-of-nowhere survival type situations.
Other bonus things to look out for:
Zero-G shenanigans, of course.
If something goes wrong with the air mix, Nitrogen Narcosis could lead to fun scenario's.
Language barriers or culture clash stuff.
Lots of pretty sights and romantic vistas and locations.
