If I'm just going to be skating casually on my neighborhood sidewalk, is that something I really need to bother wearing a helmet or padding for? I don't wear any of that with my scooter, is roller skating any different?
Update:
Thank you these are all good points! I ride my scooter and ice skate in a rink without a helmet all the time, but all these stories make it seem like roller skating outdoors is a little more risky for potential injuries than what I thought š Thanks!
Iād say if u have a job and need to make money wear protective gear. U never know u could end up hurting urself then having to take time away from work and stuff š
