Hi. I know this may sound like a silly question, but is there actually a place where I can take my skates for a check up/maintenance - and of course pay for it? I’m not really a patient person, and instead of changing/loosening or tightening up/cleaning/oiling bearings, nuts, plates, wheels or replacing bolt-on toe stops with jam plugs myself and probably making a mess of it, I’d rather get my skates checked by a professional, the same way as you would take a car to a specialist for a check-up. Do skate shops offer this service? I’m just too embarrassed to go and ask just in case they start laughing, hence I’m asking here. I’m still a beginner and my skates are ok for now, but I guess the time for a check-up is approaching - especially since I started using them outdoors. Thanks for letting me know, much appreciated!
