Tips on toe protection?

Hi friends! While I understand skates are not meant to look clean and perfect, I am worried about the integrity of the stitching at the toebox of my boot. I have tried rollerstuff's toe guards in the past, but I don't necessarily love the look of them. Besides scotchguard suede spray is there anything you guys would recommend? Better ways to fall... etc. :) Thanks in advance!
