Heya! My name is Ivy and at the moment I’m looking for a roleplay in a fantasy setting! Im open to all kinds but I’m hoping to do something in a setting I have created myself if possible! Im also open to all kinds of plots and all kinds of characters!

To start I’ll go over the world a little bit! It’s called Velbura and the main section of the world I have developed is a continent called Esthro, which has many ruins of an ancient civilization all over!

The ruins contain many old and powerful artifacts, as well as knowledge lost to time! As such, many people make a living trying to explore these ruins and find things to sell or use to gain influence in the world. They’re very dangerous though, and not solely because of beasts and monsters.

All around many of the ruins is magic permeating the air intensely, so much so that it infuses itself into many things that enter it, slowly warping it. As such only those who take proper precautions to protect themselves to the magic return most times, and any others are forever changed.

No one knows exactly what causes the downfall of this ancient civilization, but it is believed to be related to magic due to how much of it absolutely floods the lands surrounding the ruins, and as such some peoples and kingdoms renounce magic, making its use completely criminal. Others work to use magic to explore the old buildings and find out why so they may prevent it.

Plot wise I’m open to whatever really! We could have an adventure of intrigue, trying to find out what is causing the magic around the ruins, or a simple slice of life about living in one of the many cities, or whatever really! Please let me know what interests you!

And finally as for characters, I have many to choose from and am open to using all of them, but as an example character, I have Elneiros, an Eladrin who chooses to use magic to its fullest. She comes from a wealthy merchant family and grew up learning the bureaucracy of business, though with her brother as heir to take over, chose to leave home for a while and learn other ways to be useful!
