Five years ago, these were my final words to you. The only way I could think of to say goodbye given my situation. Senior year had passed, and I was off to another state to further my education. I had wanted to remain in state, but the university gave me a scholarship offer that only a fool would refuse.

So I left our hometown, with many things unsaid other than that. In those five years I excelled in my studies, and never made contact again. I had no reason to really. Our relationship was...hard to describe, and my parents had moved soon after I left as well. By all means, we were probably never going to see each other again. That was until I got an email only a couple months ago. I had an excellent job offer back in our town, and like that I was off again without a second thought.

I wasn't sure if you had stayed or moved on, and I wasn't even sure if I wanted to find out. It seemed though, that fate had other plans and was bound to see us reunited again. What would come of this though? How had we both changed for better or worse? All of these questions and more rushed through my head as I drove by your house. I didn't expect to still see you there, but I was just thankful that it seemed like you hadn't noticed me. Things were going to be interesting....

So there you have it, a simple little romance plot playing on the old saying making up the title.

Now you might notice that I was a bit vague about what our relationship was, and that's on purpose. I want you to have full freedom in playing whatever character you wish. Maybe we were great friends who had a small falling out, maybe you were my bully that I couldn't help but have a crush on regardless, or maybe we did date for a while and things had to be broken off. These are just a few examples, but I would like to work with you on whatever backstory you wish to play off of.

Obviously this will be a slowburn so I need someone willing to commit, and who's not just in it for the smut. Although there will still be smut, no worries there.
