Order 66 started off as just a rumor when it initially happened in the Republic. Outer rim systems barely even getting consistent food deliveries, much less news of the political collapse and rebirth that was forging the Empire. It started off as holograms showing clones turning on their Jedi generals. Which was strange, of course, but nothing to really turn your head to when you had to worry about it food was gonna be on the table tonight. That was when the bounties started coming in, Jedi after Jedi knight being marked with bounties on their head that could put a bounty hunter in retirement.

I wasn’t old enough to understand what was happening when the Empire first rose, but as I grew older and started bounty hunting, I couldn’t help but be jealous of those lucky bastards that helped wipe out the Jedi who started the war and made us starve for a decade and get paid for it. Now, a rare opportunity arose, in one of the bars with a bounty hologram machine, someone labeled as a former Jedi Padawan who escaped the initial purge. It had to have been new, cause most people would have scooped this up right away if they saw it. Of course I did that before anyone else could and started the hunt.
