A hero's welcome home party is an awkward thing when you're the "hero" in question. Still, I did my part, smiling and shaking hands for photo ops when needed. It came as no surprise when Sam dropped down to one knee during his tearful speech, I couldn't help but say yes of course.

The worst part was the way they all looked at me, with pity. Oh how I loathed when people would approach me with yet another sympathetic speech. People loved acting like they cared to make themselves feel good. And what had I done to deserve this? Sure, I was one of the war's most successful female combat pilots, but that felt like a hollow title. There were so many others worthy of praise, but because I crash landed in a jungle for six months I was a hero.

It made for a good story, I'll admit it. Pilot shot down and believed to be KIA found alive and well after surviving 6 months in the jungle alone. Truly sensational, though there was one minor detail that I would never correct anyone one.

I wasn't alone during those six months. There was something in that jungle, something that I couldn't tell anyone about both for it's safety... and my shame.

It's been a few weeks since that party, things have thankfully settled down now. Sam and I got a place together that was fairly remote, yet still close enough to civilization for his commutes. I preferred to stay home, I'd had enough socializing for my taste. And while the concept confused him, the forest surrounding our house was strangely... calming. It certainly wasn't the jungle I once knew, but it was as close as I could get now. Sometimes I could swear I could see you, just behind a bush or tree. It would always bee something else of course, a misplaced branch or an animal of some sort. Still, I'd often find myself looking out into those trees to relax myself, hoping that the longing feeling in my heart wasn't showing on my face.

So! Here's the basic idea, I crash landed in a jungle somewhere and was presumed dead, but in reality I was able to parachute into the territory of something typically hidden from humans. During my 6 months in the jungle a relationship of some sort forms between us, we can work out the exact details together. Plot happens and the military discovers I'm alive and "rescues" me, bringing me back home. And sooo now we're here.

You can brainstorm a scenario if you'd like, but here's my ideal one. You're somehow able to track me down, and one night while I'm alone you come out of the woods and reveal yourself to me. Drama happens "oh noo I'm engaged pls no we can't" then smut happens "hard to think about him with my butt in your face huh?" (I deserve a writing award of some kind I know). Our relationship is secretly rekindled, emphasis on secretly as I don't plan on revealing you to anybody, and we do shameful things all over the woods and in/on the house. This can definitely be long term, and I'd love to see where it might go.

As for exactly what you are, well that's up to you. I have refs of course, but I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Basic description: 24, white (pale af), long black hair, brown eyes, 5'3", 120 lbs, 34c chest and a nice bubble butt. Oh, and I wear glasses.
