Hey! This post will be pretty long, so I'll just state plain and simple what I'm looking for first. If you're interested, feel free to keep reading the details! By the way, there aren't any spoilers of Re:Zero here.

I want a long term roleplay either in the world of Re:Zero and with its characters (I'd like to play an OC, but I'm not against playing Subaru) or an Isekai with similar topics

The next genres or topics are a must:

-Action

-Romance (I mean actual wholesomeness and not smut. I'm also open for smut from time to time, but it's not a must, so it's up to you and we can discuss it later. I'm only looking for M4F romance)

-Dark themes/psychological horror (from time to time and on special/specific occasions, like Re:Zero, I don't want horror on literally every part of the rp)

-Slice of life (Yes, I want action but also some tranquility on the story)

-Comedy (at least some funny moments/lines and some absurd situations. Not everything has to be dark)

Now, these are some genres/topics that I'd like to add, but are not strictly necessary:

-Gore: for the action scenes. The level of detail is up to you.

Like I said, I'd like the roleplay to be in the world of Re:Zero, but I'm fine playing in your world if you already have one. If you're looking for the former, we can make an original story or somewhat follow the path of the anime/novels (you'll be in charge of the story, I'll just make decisions through my character, so the choice is yours).

But, if you're looking for a roleplay in your world, then the less I know about it, the better (so I can react to everything for the first time, like my character).

One thing I want to keep from Re:Zero (even if we're not doing the rp in that world) is the Return by Death ability. What is it? Well, in Re:Zero it works like this (don't worry, I won't spoil anything. And this ability literally appears in the first episode of the anime):

The main character can die, and when that happens, he goes back to a specific point in time, like a checkpoint (literally, time travel through his own death). We can use it just like that, or we can make some changes to it (for example, every death goes back 1 hour instead of being a specific checkpoint). We can discuss this more in detail. I love how this adds more weight to the story, since literally everyone can die (at least until Return by Death activates), but I feel like it makes things a lot more interesting because the characters aren't protected by plot armor and you don't know when something will go wrong, or how bad it'll get.

I'm M22, I have about 2 years of experience roleplaying, English isn't my first language so my vocabulary isn't great, but I'd say that my grammar is at least decent. You won't be reading many consecutive mistakes (hopefully, lol). I write at least one paragraph per reply (but I can write up to 6 or 7, depends on the context). I have no preference on first or third person. I do like to write in the past tense, but I'm not against writing in the present if that's what you want. I can guarantee one reply per day, but I'll probably reply more than once. And finally, I prefer using “ ” for dialogues and nothing for actions, for example:

“I hope this works…” He said before pushing the button.

I'd like to discuss the most important aspects of the rp here on reddit and then move onto Discord to talk about the details and finally begin the roleplay. I also don't mind if you'd like to talk OOC and get to know each other or if you just want to stick to the roleplay, I'm fine with both!
