When we thought of the world ending, we thought of great fires, riots in the streets, mass exodus. But when the dead came, the world simply whimpered. Within the first year most of Humanity around the globe had been lost to the plague. Many hunkered down for what they thought were the final years of their race.
But after 10 years, decade of death and damnation, the dead simply started to drop, and recent dead were found to stay dead. It had seemed even the plague had a fixed life. What was left of Humanity watch in awe as each zombie dropped. Within 6 months, it became near unheard of to spot one.
Now Humanity rebuilds, many banding together to retake the once deadly cities of the world, now able to access vast resources once denied to them to recapture our former glory. But, as always, there are those with more sinister notions.
