I imagine a role where it’s war times. The classic of wounded, invading enemy soldier who this person (we live in your country, in the sense you are a civilian and the war is taking place in your region), an element of drama with your character’s husband being my side’s enemy, he doesn’t return home a lot during wartime, but there’s always the chance he does, elevating the risk for each of us (and there will be conflict, close calls long before there is any long-term connection.
Obviously, World War II seems like it would be the more ‘ideal’ setting for this, but we could also get creative with the civil war, a fictional war, Vietnam War, anything. Main theme of the Roleplay is seriously wounded character whose life is saved, he is slowly brought back to health. Partner doesn’t need any real medical knowledge, this is all just for fun and we can make it up as we go. Naturally, down the line, he’ll end up saving her. The element of her already being married is optional, just seemed like an added layer that could provide more depth and drama to the story. As a fan of drama in roles, I’m also very receptive to other subplots you might have.
Length: Dynamic response length (Sometimes it will be paragraphs, but there will be times where it’s just a few sentences. Responses lengths tailored to match the scene and the partner. POV: 1st person. Strongly prefer 1st, but I am willing to do 3rd, just be patient with me through any potential gaffes. Communication: Reddit chat best, then envelopes then Discord. Open to any of the three, but prefer chat.
This role is ALWAYS OPEN, from now until the end of time. If you have ideas for it, anything you think would enhance a role like this, bring it. If you have a slightly different version of the role you’d like to do, propose it. Collaboration is everything.
If there are any SoL roles, with themes even 10% similar to this one, I’m very open to reading them and we can potentially go through with them.
