Hi
To start us off, a little about me... I'm a British girl in her 30s who loves to write! I like detail, I like passion, I like huge amounts of drama and anguish! I enjoy talking outside of Roleplay, I want to know what you like, what makes you tick. I want to discuss where we can take our ideas and how we're going to play things out. If you want somebody to talk or even rant to about your real life then I'm there for it! I'm an open book who is willing to make friends as well as create a really good story together. I'm not looking for anything short term, I'm looking for something that gets me excited to load up Discord. I primarily write in 3rd person but I’ll switch to 1st for someone who is willing to put in the effort I desire. I’m fine with one or two liners in terms of dialogue but otherwise the details are important to me. Discord is also the only place I will RP. In a server, not PMs.
Here’s a little intro to my character, Darcy. Hopefully she’ll interest you and we can discuss where your character fits into her new found life in Hollywood! (I’m partial to the idea of your character not being another big name, perhaps someone unknown and unexpected?)

Darcy Bennett - the british born ‘scream queen’ you’ll be seeing everywhere. By Azalea Beresford Photography Irma Luc
Hollywood is a long way from home for this up and coming actress, her new movie ‘Alibi’ has become a cult sensation almost overnight. Used to playing out small time roles in British horror flicks she took a chance on a script sent to her in a ominous black envelope - the work of none other than the renowned director James Henderson. Darcy took the next flight she could get out of London and catapulted her way into being our next favourite scream queen. With glossy brunette locks and a British accent to die for, we sat down with a very sophisticated looking Darcy for some quick fire questions in The Hollywood Roosevelt.
Darcy, can you tell us a bit about your life before ‘Alibi’ and your spontaneous flight into LAX airport?!
Well, I grew up just outside of London with my Mother who thought that attending Drama classes was just a phase for me, a place to figure out who I was in my teenage years… But I guess it kind of stuck. I went to community college so there wasn’t much opportunity when it came to finding roles, I wasn’t so fortunate to be in a place like L.A. People didn’t scout my neighbourhood for talent. I started going into London, meeting up with artsy types and eventually got a role in some low budget horror and it kind of just spiraled from there until I got that envelope through my door.
The bizarre black envelope, right? Tell us about that. It’s very James Henderson, what did you think of that when you received it?
At first I was scared! It was literally just a black envelope with a few pages of a script inside and a phone number scribbled on the bottom. I don’t know, I guess I thought I was being pranked or something? Anyways, I called the number after like two days of reading it repeatedly and his assistant answered and put me straight through to him when I said who I was. Yeah, it was pretty crazy… I have a lot to thank him for.
Well, we’re glad he found you! How was it working with him?
Wild. Amazing though - he’s a real genius. I loved his work, as cliche as it may sound! He’s a great guy.
And to finish off our quick round of questions Darcy - how are you finding LA? It’s been a few months since the release of Alibi and we’re dying to know, are you here to stay?
Once again, it’s wild! Overwhelming, beautiful. The weather is obviously a dream. I haven’t bought a place yet, I’m renting an apartment right now… But yeah, I hope I am here to stay.
Thank you for your time Darcy, we hope you are too!
