Most people live in ignorant bliss, strolling through life with little care in the world. They go about their business as they work, socialize, start families and eventually grow old. Little do they know that there is a thin veil keeping out the insanity of the cosmos, the tendrils of eldritch beings that wait to coil themselves around the feeble minds of mankind. For eons there have been several cults that have attempted to appease these beings and to pierce the veil to hail in a new age of horror, though little success has been had on this front.

This is where you come into the fray, a random no-name in a painfully boring world that strives to make contact with an outer God and set in motion a chain of events that will end up engulfing the world in an ocean of chaos and depravity. There are many steps that need to be taken before one can achieve such a nefarious goal of course. You will have to find ancient relics, hidden ritual sights where the veil is the thinnest, gather a following of morally corrupt individuals and worm your way into upper society to make full use of the world's potential.

As it always goes with these sort of stories it starts with a book, a skin-bound tome that's written in human blood. Within this grimoire of the damned i'll be found, your very first familiar and your guide through your blood-soaked quest. How all of this will happen is up to you, i'm just here to guide you along the way and have some fun in the process!

Hello hello lovely peeps of the internet! Thank you for reading my vague horror rambling~

As you might've guessed from the little prompt above I'm looking for a sort of Lovecraftian-esque cult building story. I've imagined this to be set in a more Victorian-era timeline although of course we can discuss these details together later on! Even though i made it sound pretty bleak and gruesome so far I'd actually like if this was a bit more on the casual and light-hearted side of things, with of course some horrorific moments here and there for authenticity sake.

In this long-term focused roleplay I'd be taking on the role of a GM, guiding you through the world as you build up influence and ready yourself and your cult for the arrival of the dark overlords of the cosmos. Of course I'll pick up the mantle of a 'main' character myself as well, c'thaaxha, who is a lesser eldritch God that will help you on your path.

When it comes to my kinks and limits I have a pretty lengthy list on my profile that you should check out as well as a, I like to think, fun DPP profile post where I introduce myself and my writing style. In my DPP profile post I also list who my ideal partner would be and where I'd prefer to roleplay on. For the sake of summarising a bit, I prefer to roleplay on Discored and my ideal partners are 21 up to about 30 years old; preferably with a nerdy side to them. This is also meant to be more story focused so don't expect this to be a constant fuck fest of smut scenes, although of course there will be plenty of those. I'd say a ratio of 95/05 story to smut sounds about right.

I know a lot of people tend to go for things like a messages a day but i'm more session oriented. My life can be a bit hectic at times or my motivation can be a little bit fluctuating on a daily basis so i've found that arranging a session once or twice a week where we can focus a few hours or writing together works great!
