Set in present day the story takes place in a fictional suburb set in Michigan, during the summer, it follows the story of a group of street racers as they are met with returning college students among young car enthusiast eager to take hold of the gangs main drag and race spot, an abandoned steel mill factory. In an effort to hold on to their territory the group must defend their turf through a competition of races set throughout different locations varying from a midnight race beginning at one outskirt to the other side all the while avoiding the police to.
