Saisho no Katto: The Deepest Cut (A Samurai Super power Roleplay)

The year is 1550 A.D., it is the Sengoku Period, and Japan has been in a civil war for quite some time now. Just a few years ago matchlock firearms had reached the region, but nothing beats a good bow. With the help of his army of top notch soldiers, General Ryoma Ishikawa was able to defeat a large number of Mongol invaders on the coast of the Takeda Region, not far from Mt. Fuji.

After days of fighting and a few losses, it was finally time for his soldiers to rest. Given marching orders to a well known hot springs, General Ishikawa's soldiers made no hesitation to make their way there, eager to relax. However on the way there, the soldiers had gotten ambushed by warriors with strange powers and wearing various masks, killing many soldiers and kidnapping a few, including the General.

Now the soldiers have to escape, only to find Japan is now under rule of these super powered warriors known as the Kyōryokuna Senshi. Even after recovering their best warrior's, they were overpowered and could not take back Japan.

Along with this strange new phenomenon, mythical creatures known as Yokai had been appearing all over Japan. Creatures of weird shapes and abilities, once thought to be being of fiction and folklore, we're now roaming the country. Was this the Kyōryokuna Senshi's doing? Were they there from their own volition? Perhaps the General and his crew could gain their help in defeating these super powered warriors. Either way, if nothing was done, Japan was doomed.
