Hello reddit! I’m random man. I’ve been roleplaying for about six years now and I’ve recently ended one of my longest rp’s (it went on for three years). Anyway, with that rp ended, I’m looking to stretch my wings again and start up a new one with a new partner. First things first, I’m looking for someone who’s willing to do a long term rp with me. It doesn’t have to go on for years on end, but I’m looking to at least build a story with an in depth world to it.

Some ground rules: please be able to type multiple paragraphs and at least match the length of the responses I give you. Obviously I don’t expect you to write me a novella in every response, but please put some effort into your responses and be able to write 2 paragraphs.. I primarily rp on discord but if you don’t have it I can always brush the dust off my KIK, account and we can do it there.

I’m a full time student and I work part time, so I won’t always be available to roleplay. I will, however, try to give you a heads up in advance when I won’t be around so you don’t think I’ve ghosted. I expect the same type of communication and coordination from my partners, so that we’re both on the same page.

My story idea set in modern times, in a world of magic and magical creatures. (Kinda like Harry Potter, where all that stuff is hidden and separate from the human world). My character mike, discovers he can practice magic by performing a few accidental, nonverbal spells. Spurred by the realization that magic is real, he does everything in his power to learn more about it, in a quest to master his abilities. After several weeks of google searching, however, he doesn’t find much in the way of instructions about the mystic arts. Until one day, someone leaves a mysterious black book on his doorstep.

The book is old, bound in black “leather”, and written in blood. It’s contents are written in a different language and don’t appear to make any sense.. with the help of a library, and google translate, mikes able to decipher half of one of the pages. To his surprise, the book seems to contain detailed instructions of demonic summoning rituals! So, like any reasonable human being, Mike decides to summon a demon to make a deal with it. In exchange for an animal sacrifice and a small sliver of his soul, he wants to know all about magic and how he can master it.

Since mike is a novice, the summoning ritual has some hiccups. Instead of summoning the demon he intends to, he accidentally summons you... you can be any type of demon you want in this rp, I just ask that you make it interesting and be creative...

Side note. I don’t mind smut, or nsfw themes just as long as they’re not the main drive of this story. Anyway, looking forward to hearing back from you all. Cheers.
