Hello everybody! The Kingdom of Elliaster is a low fantasy world set with the ideals and culture of a medieval, dark ages Europe. Magic has been prevalent in the world, but it was always limited to an individual's ability and the inherit weakness of magic...however, recently a magical ore has been discovered which amplifies magic tenfold, even through the weakest of casters. Furthermore, it can be used to power machines, driving a new age of engineering and discovery. This realization plunged the kingdom into civil war between the traditionalists and progressive minds. Even after the latter party won and King Dedrik sat upon the throne, the northern Kingdom has began an invasion of Elliaster.

What role will you play? Will you attempt to maintain the status quo? Aid in pushing back the heathens? Perhaps fiddle and work with the ore to see what new wonders can be created? Or perhaps carve out your own little piece in this world?

We are a writing community at heart, and our RP reflects that. While we appreciate conversational approaches, we like to put effort behind our replies.
