Hello! I'm looking for some new long-term roleplay partners. I won't be listing the exact things I'm looking for here, simply because I know that it might take up a bit too much typing space. I will however, give a brief introduction to myself and what I can offer as a writing partner.
In terms of writing quality and quantity, I consider myself literate to advanced literate. I like my partners to be in the same general area, but it's alright if not. I'm not picky about post lengths in the long run as long as I have something to work with, even if at times it's a one liner. I write primarily in third person perspective, but am flexible on that front. I'll write as male, female, or any other gender. I will also write as trans, if you're seeking that sort of perspective. I enjoy partners who can do the same, but understand if not. I'll write f/f, f/m, and m/f. I am open to both canon and originals, as my title suggests. In terms of canon roleplays, I'm fine with original characters, canon characters, or configurations including both. I love to double, triple, and so on- therefore, I'm fine with writing as more than one character throughout the story.
Finally, I'd like to leave a little list of general themes I'm looking for right now.Wild West (I'm craving this the most right now, as my title suggests), Science Fiction, Modern Fantasy, Slice of Life, Romance, Post-Apocalyptic, High Fantasy.
I do, for your viewing, have a list of original ideas, a wordbank, and a list of fandoms that I'd love to show you. If I at all seem as if I might be a good fit for writing with you, please feel free to message me here on reddit! We can, from there discuss how we'd like to go about things!Thank you for your time in reading all of this!
Edit: Just kidding! I've decided to include my list!
â—‹ A train hopping crust punk encounters the ghost of a fellow trainhopper who fell under the rails and died.
â—‹ A living person's computer, gaming device, or phone is inhabited by a flirty ghost!
â—‹ There's a friendly but sad ghost living in a living person's new home! (Can you tell I like ghosts?)
â—‹ A star falls from the sky! They're rare, and it's dangerous to be one. Are you the star, hunted and lost? Or are you someone who finds a star?
â—‹ There's something in the mines just outside of this wild west town... what's making townspeople disappear and come back days later, void of emotions and memories?
â—‹ A flower faerie is terribly in love with the caretaker of the garden they live in. (Bonus points for gruff orc gardeners!!)
â—‹ A wary soul tied to an instrument doesn't want to be separated from their chosen musician.
â—‹ One's a mermaid, one's a sailor. Both are morons.
â—‹ Stowaways, and the people who catch 'em!
â—‹ Androids and more androids! Or... androids and non-androids!
â—‹ Modern magic! Welcome to a wizard-owned candy shoppe!
â—‹ A wandering traveller gets caught in a storm and wanders into the wrong mansion!
â—‹ A wandering traveller gets caught in a storm and is caught up by the god of the winds!
â—‹ Anything high fantasy, sci-fi, horror, modern fantasy, adventure, or romance!
â—‹ Arranged marriages!
And then a wordbank!
Also, if none of these plots are ones you want to work with, here's a wordbank that I've had for a while that might better capture the things and ideas for writing I've been pondering lately.
insightful apparitions, wandering and wounded spirits, a shallowly cheerful memory, obvious and magnificent truths just barely disguised by the mundane, the farthest reaches of space, the closest reaches of space, the in between places, twilight, secrets that could free a people, secrets that could destroy a world, faeries and goblins making deals, the fae, terrible things that lurk in the dark, the wild west, enchanted castles, enchanted meadows hidden in the woods, enchanted worlds, undersea kingdoms, a world blanketed in deadly snow, social change brought on by climate change, the end of the world, the mundane becoming the horrifying, the horror found in human beings, human kindness in a sea of such monsters, hidden governments, flappers and mobsters, cursed buildings, portals that anyone could happen upon, poorly guarded treasure, journeys to end wars and curses, wizards at their minimum wage jobs, planets with death hidden at their cores, places too close to dying stars, time kerfuffles, grief, dichotomies, great power in unlikely sources
