This post is searching for a GM; knowledge of Owlcat's Rogue Trader RPG is not necessary, but is appreciated. Extensive knowledge of the lore of WH40K is also not necessary and I do not care to be strictly bound to it.

For this RP I'm looking for somebody keen to go on an extremely off-beaten path together, one that follows the story of a highly unlikely successor to the seat of Rogue Trader - an orphaned survivor of one of the Imperium's rages carried out against nonhuman-sympathetic world, allowed to live thanks only to the genes that they carry. Decades ago in their past, the main character has maintained a silent but seething contempt for the system they were forced into and the crimes carried out in its name. Our story, per my musings, follows their unexpected ascent to power and the inheritance of their Protectorate, leaving them to slowly sculpt it to their liking and one day turning their back on the Imperium as a whole.

A lot of niche economics and war and political shenanigans are expected here as a forewarning.
