First of all, thank you for clicking on this message. Now I just have to hope that you'll be interested in what you find within.

As you might have guessed from the title and where this has been posted, I'm looking for a partner to roleplay with. And to be more specific, to have a romantic roleplay with. I will give some very broad outlines for plot ideas below but of course I'm always open to suggestions.

I wi however start with the simple logistics of the roleplay. I generally aim for one to two paragraphs per post and hope to post daily or at least semidaily. I generally prefer writing in first person because I find that to be the most interesting and would prefer to write here on Reddit because that keeps all roleplaying in one place.

As might be guessed, what I mostly want is a romantic story between our main characters. I also like it when there are some elements to the story that make it more than just an easy romance. It's much more enticing when there are challenges to overcome together and through which they can grow stronger.

For our characters the most important thing to me is that they feel real. So no supermodels or the like, but real normal people. I also prefer it if both characters aren't very young, so I'd say at least late twenties. For your character, she's yours of course although I have to confess a weak spot for bigger women.

And now, some rough ideas for a story. I have written all of them in such a way that we can figure out which role we want to go for later so we can shape the best possible story together.

1) Lost or Found

One of our characters' spouse has gone missing and the other character is the lead investigator in this case. Naturally, the character with a missing spouse is a main suspect and that makes it all the worse when the two start to fall for each other. It could be that they actually killed their spouse and at some point even involve the detective in the coverup but it's also possible that they're completely innocent, just very much suspected.

2) Opposites Attract

Our characters are politicians who recently got elected. They however are polar opposites on the spectrum. Despite that, they get to know each other and fall in love, bridging the gap privately while having to find a way to keep their careers.

3) Undercover(s)

One of our characters is a criminal, and not a tiny one. They are in charge of a local drug network. The other is an officer or agent who infiltrates said network. Naturally, our characters are attracted to each other and sparks fly. Exactly what's not supposed to happen in an undercover operation. That means that the agent has plenty of choices to make, and what happens if the criminal finds out?

4) Cooking Love

Our characters are both in the culinary world. As a chef, a waiter, or something else. And there is one thing they have in common. They dream of opening their own restaurant. And somehow, they decide to go for it together. Of course, that experience will bring them much closer together and things get hot in the kitchen...

5) Blessed Love

My character is a devout priest, a man who has given his whole life and being to the church. He comes to a new town to replace the parish priest and there, he tends to his flock. Your character is one of them. A married woman who volunteers at the church. The two fall in love, even though that shouldn't happen and they find that some things just can't be resisted.
