This one's for Roleplay.

It exactly what you think. A tower guarded by a dragon. You're typical damsel in distress story... Wait... The prince was kidnapped!?!

Fredrick wasn't your typical prince, he was quite insecure and this was only worsened by his kidnapping by the dragon who now guarded his tower. His father viewed him as so weak that he gave out the same order he would if Fredrick were a princess that were captured. "Who ever can rescue the prince will have his hand in marriage." The king hoped this would mean he may actually provide a competent ruler for his realm, but Fredrick knew he would be the king no matter what. HE TOTALLY DIDN'T NEED ANY SUPPORT... Totally. So when he was saved after his father's death he took control and promptly turned to his wife for support both politically and emotionally.
