Hi, I figure that posting here is something of a long shot, but I’ll try anything once! I’ve known since I was young that traditional heterosexual relationship dynamics aren’t exactly my thing. Sweeping another person off their feet is certainly nice, but nothing has ever managed to make me blush from ear to ear like being told how cute I am in a slightly condescending tone, or watching my partner place an order for me at a restaurant. I’m a shy, geeky, gentle soul, and small acts of chivalry can turn me into a puddle of goo in seconds. I think that I have a lot to give back in return- beyond a good sense of humour and a cute smile, I’m a very affectionate partner who isn’t afraid to let my woman know how much she means to me (maaaaybe to the point of being a little clingy. :P) If we get to know each other well enough, expect all the lazy morning cuddles, head massages, and strong opinions on Star Trek you could ever want! I’m very happy in a supportive role, and nothing would make me happier than making my partner a cup of tea and showing how much I value her at the end of a tough day. In return, I’d love somebody who could hold me when I’m sad, make me feel small and protected, and who is down to do lots of fun couple activities together.

Of course, before any of that, we have to get to know each other! Here’s some general information about me:

• I’m a History student starting my fourth and final year at university this September, and I plan on eventually moving on to doing a PhD. In my spare time, I like to read nonfiction books on history, politics, and philosophy. If you want some insightful discussion of world events, or just some weird historical factoids, I’d like to feel that I can provide that.
• I’m relatively short (5’6), with long brown hair and brown eyes. I’ve recently discovered how much I enjoy painting my nails, and I certainly don’t mind experimenting with some more feminine gender presentation (I’m open to suggestions!) While I’m not athletic, I’m not in bad shape either, and I take pride in my appearance and hygiene. Being tall definitely isn’t a bad thing, but it isn’t a requirement either.
• I’m a total geek, and I’m really into both Star Trek and a number of JRPGs, especially Pokémon and Dragon Quest. Whether or not you want to be involved in that is entirely up to you- there’s absolutely no requirement to be a capital ‘G’ Gamer. Although, beating me handily at Mario Kart might be a quick way to get me flustered and malleable…
• I enjoy long walks along country trails when the weather is nice. But it hasn’t stopped raining for about a month now, so perhaps that’s irrelevant.
• As mentioned before, I’m rather shy, and struggle with social anxiety somewhat. Once I open up and get absorbed into a conversation, I think that I’m rather charming and affable (if that doesn’t sound too big-headed!) But I definitely need to recharge for a bit after meeting new people.
• Age-wise, I’d prefer somebody who is 20 or older. I certainly wouldn’t mind dating an older, emotionally intelligent woman; nor would I mind somebody my own age. So long as the two of us click, it isn’t especially important to me.
• Strong, opinionated women are very attractive to me. I love somebody who knows her own mind, and isn’t afraid to let me know what she thinks. There’s nothing more reassuring than being around an upbeat and outgoing person- but you don’t need to be indestructible. Stroking my partner’s hair when she’s sad, and letting her know that I’m there for her, is strangely a big part of the appeal of role reversal for me.
• I don’t mind taking the train to other parts of the country to meet up with prospective partners, or dating slightly long-distance. The only requirement location-wise is that you live in the UK- I need to be able to see my partner semi-regularly without bankrupting myself.

Overall, I’d just like to have some fun with somebody who is authentically herself! Message me personally, and we can start talking to see how we get along. If all goes well, we could eventually (safely) arrange a date IRL. Even if we don’t fall head over heels for one another, it’ll be a fun chance to meet new people in a non-judgemental environment for me.
