Is “status” off putting?

I was wondering if being in a high working position is off putting, especially because a lot of high paying roles are ones where you tell people what they have to do and you’re the boss/manager. Is that an unattractive role as a rr man? (Ofc househusband is the ultimate goal, but this is assuming both partners have a job)
