So, supposedly I'm able to add two channels to my US 2000 via the digital/ spdif input on the back of the unit provided I've got an interface that will go digital out -which I happen to have in the Roland MMP 2. BUT -I just can't get the darn thing to work! I'm using Reaper and although both channels on the MMP 2 are indicating on the little window thing that they are receiving their own gain from individual microphones, only one side appears to be working in Reaper (digital left). I've got both channels armed to record in Reaper and each one is set to it's own input (dig R and dig L), but both channels are recording the same signal -same mic -Digital left...
Stumped! -I've tried to configure this thing every which way... I feel like it was working properly at one point, but now it's just not doing it at all...
Am I missing something here? Possibly, am I misunderstanding it's function? I'm supposed to get two more mono channels from this thing going through the digital, no?
Thanks.
