I just hooked up a new Roku Soundbar to my TV and when using the voice commands with the included remote, nothing I say works on the remote. When I hold the button and talk to the remote, the mic icon on the TV shows up and responds in a wavy motion to my voice, but when I release the button it says it's thinking for a couple seconds then nothing ever happens.
I'm not sure if it matters but the TV is older and doesn't have any HDMI ARC ports nor did it have any TOSlink ports, so I had to get an analog to digital converter (link here) which I used to hook up the soundbar to the TV. Once I used it and hooked everything up, everything else worked though with no issues at all, just the voice commands not doing anything.
To anyone who offers any help or tips, I really appreciate it!
