Three annoying problems with Roku 3/Netflix
Post Body

Hi all,

I've checked settings in Netflix and there seem to be none.

  1. Have headphones plugged into remote, go away to do chores, come back to discover it recommenced playing five minutes into my absence

  2. Press pause, press play, audio has lost about three seconds of sync - can remedy by hitting 'back' twice and essentially exiting the series then hitting 'resume play'

  3. Have headphones plugged in and remember how annoying 1 is, so remove headphones, which starts the damn thing playing again simply by removing headphones

Now, 1 and 3 can also be remedied by hitting 'back' twice, but I seriously should not have to do this. No other streaming service I have had has ever had these problems. Also to note, the problem seems to be with series as opposed to films.

Is anyone aware of a magic remedy? Is it worth getting in touch with Netflix? It really pisses me off when I forget to do an action I shouldn't need to, and, for example, I wake up four hours later in the middle of the night and can hear it streaming from my headphones where I forgot to unplug them to stop the damn thing from playing, or wake up to dead batteries, or have to remember where I was to rewind because it's been playing forever how long without me noticing.

It's the Roku 3, my software is up to date, I've rebooted, and it's the second Roku 3 unit I've had that Netflix behaves this way on.

Thanks :)
