Is anyone willing to compare the archetypes to dnd classes?

I would absolutely love it if someone could translate this game into something I understand better. Dnd classes for archetypes for example. I looked up how to play operative, they seem great, but at first their skills looked like a foreign language. I imagined psykers were like wizards or sorcerers but I don’t know how to equip them.
Then there’s armor. What type should I be using with who? Abelard seems to dodge and parry anything.
