Elf Warrior upgrade bug when using Assassin class

Took me a while to actually capture this, because reproduction of this bug is somewhat fuzzy, but I finally succeeded.
At the beginning you can see that the Elf's upgrade counter is 3. I end up killing another enemy, while also triggering Mark of the Assassin. And in the next battle it can be seen that the Elf's upgrade counter is still 3.
