Post Body

so at 11:23 am today I got a mail daemon for my rogers email account saying an email, sent at 8:18am, could not be sent to the following email address:

[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])

I do not remember sending the email in question and promptly changed my password to something completely new.

My first thought was I had been hacked, but the email sent (I can see it in my outbox), contains neither a body nor a subject line. and in fact, the email address apparently doesn't exist (hence the mailer daemon). Further, rainierarms does appear to be a legitimate business, though I had never heard of them until this morning. None of this makes sense.

Checking my internet history, 8:17 am was when I started using my computer this morning, and I usually check my email first thing.

I'm uncertain what happened, and kind of unnerved frankly. Checking "Have IBeenPwned", I see no new leaks on my email address, and my password was both long and varied before. If it wasn't for the "[@mail.rainierarms.com](mailto:[email protected])", I would assume I accidentally sent an email hitting a bunch of buttons and shortcuts, but I don't remember that at all.

I wanted to ask if anyone has any advice on what I should do next or what this could be.
