Want to Steer Wrestle but never ride a horse before
Post Body
I’ve always wanted to go to a steer wrestling camp but don’t want to look like a retard since I’ve never ridden a horse before. Closest thing I’ve ridden to a horse is my motorcycle. Any advice?

This isn’t true at all, of course you need to know how to ride. Guys don’t give you their horse for nothing, they take a cut from the winnings, usually 20%. If you can’t ride a horse (and most are tricky in the box) without ripping their face off in the box, or on the jump, with proven win times, they aren’t letting you on. Wear and tear on good horses is something everyone cares about.
This guy needs to look into chute dogging.
