Long story short, I am getting tons of baked in noise on my rodecaster pro 2 with two shure sm7dbs using 6 ft mogami xlr cables and just the sm7b preset on the rodecaster. Rode hasn't been helpful at all and the scooby doo troubleshooting into what is going on isn't helping either. Is there an ongoing checklist of things to address for this issue? I have read a lot of reddit posts about this and it's generally a lot of guesswork and shooting in the dark. Very frustrating for a premium priced item. Everything is updated and all normal troubleshooting has been applied.
