Regular Warm-up Routine
Post Body

I have a couple of questions regarding my warm-up routine which I strive to implement daily (or for every day I play), and every time I hop on for a comp session, although I occasionally avoid it if I do not feel like playing for long, or any comp, which may be detrimental to my consistency.

To provide some insight: I woke up at 5:30 AM this morning and hopped on RL at 6:20 (this is earlier than usual), after watching a 20 minute upload by ApparentlyJack; I always watch pro gameplay before I begin playing. I then proceeded to complete my warm up, which comprises: 2 - 4 casual 2s games; aerial car control - leth's rings, or speed rings jump 3 by dmc; recovery mechanics - in free play; aerial mechanics; backboard defence; shadow defence; ground control, dribbling and flicks; and shooting placement, power and technique. For the above, mostly training packs are used, apart from for aerial car control where I'd use a workshop map. As such, the duration of the routine is between 1 and 2 hours. After the warm-up, I played some ranked 2s, and finished playing at 9am, as I had to go out shortly after.

Back to the questions though. Is there anything else anyone would recommend that I add to my warm-up routine, in-game, mentally or physically, to enhance my preparation for each session?

I have not played since this morning, I arrived home today at 5:30 PM, it is now 7:30 pm, and I plan to watch another video of pro gameplay before I hop on RL again for the night. The question is, should I repeat my full warm-up session since I was away from home from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm? - I am asking this specific question as I would like to know whether my muscle memory is still effective enough from when I last played this morning, enough for me to not have to repeat the full warm-up, which would save time. Rocket league is a game for which I have become slightly obsessive lol. I appreciate any and all replies. Cheers, and good luck with the new season. :)
