Post Body

Back when I was just a wee rocket car enthusiast dreaming of Rocketeer (which has now lost all meaning in the fallout of Update 1.5) I found out that I had myself a question which had never been asked, leaving me with no answer. About a month ago I posted that very same question and received some amazing feedback from you guys! A favorite being a Goalkeeper GE for the pure entertainment of irony. Others left me no choice in the matter, such as; Scorer GE's. Duh. So thank you, community. Now, for the revisit!

I wanted to know what the best layout assignment was for specific certifications and their best paired item category. What certifications should I put where?! Well there are 6 (excluding toppers) item types that can be certified, and 15 different certifications total. That leaves you 12 certs left to work with, right? Maybe; but not for me. I would rather have my whole preset be working on the certifications with both Orange and Blue cars, but that also limits my certified items to black, grey, and white, because matching is everything. So back to 6 areas to assign certifications on a preset, and the final answer to all of your problems!

I am currently about to hit 200 hours, ranked high Plat. I say this because out of the 15 certifications, quite a few of them do not apply to my current play style / overall capabilities. Meaning - I am currently not hitting turtle goals on a regular basis. Hardly ever. Like 4 in my career. Why would I have even think about putting that somewhere on my car? So I began to think about my game play, and what happened consistently for me enough to have the Cert Title grow? After the last month or so, I have come up with a solution I am 100% happy with, and felt I had left nothing out. Here is the answer to my own question.

Body - Guardian : Epic Saves. I think the body is the deciding factor in a save, especially an epic one.

Decal - Goalkeeper : Saves. Yeah, the body does the most part, but my decal was there too!

Wheels - Playmaker : Assists. I couldn't have gotten that pass off to you without some working wheels!

Boosts - Aviator : Aerial goals. Well, it does require some boost for an aerial goal.

Goal Explosion - Scorer : Goals. Just... duh.

Trail - Victor : Wins. Gotta keep track of them W's.

Thanks for your time if you made it this far! And also a huge thank you to the people who gave me answers in my first thread. GG - amu
