[Discussion] Why has Striker become the most popular certification? It tracks shots on net, but wouldn't, say, Scorer--actual goals--offer more bragging rights?

I don't expect a hard and fast answer to this, rather I'm just curious what people's opinions are.

That said, tracking shots on net instead of goals feels like tracking bullets fired in a first person shooter rather than actual kills. Even certifications like Victor (wins) or Paragon (MVPs) feels like they'd be more valuable. Striker just (personally) feels like it's measuring aggression rather than effectiveness or skill.

I'm certainly not trying to say people outright shouldn't like Striker, or that they should be ashamed or anything. Enjoy what you enjoy; I know for sure some of my own favorites are fairly unpopular choices (Tactician, Sweeper, Goalkeeper).

I'm just curious if there's any reasons why Striker may have risen to the top (perhaps a cool sounding name?) or if it just... sorta happened.
